Individuals that can do accounting or bookkeeping are needed in most every industry. Bookkeeping courses generally include basic accounting and bookkeeping practices, computer and data input, journal keeping, balance sheets, credit and debits, depreciation, annual statements, tax deductions, and computer based accounting systems. Learn the fundamentals of accounting principles.

A bookkeeper will typically oversee payroll and human resources functions as well as the accounting functions. Often times, employers will hire an office manager who will also be responsible for the accounting function as well as the general office functions. As a senior accountant, you would be responsible for overseeing and training staff, researching accounting issues, or compiling and audition data.
